I have contributed but...
... I still haven't had my status upgraded so that I can view for sale posts. I have e-mailed ChrisW and sent U2Us to Fozzie and ChrisW but had
no replies. I made the donation via PayPal on 11th Oct.
I am obviously doing something wrong - any ideas about how to solve it would be welcome.

Logged in to check from time to time but no CONTRIBUTOR message comes up & I cant see the for sale posts?

Apparently Chris hasn't changed all the e-mail link addresses yet, so some funds/messages may have been sent to his old e-mail address. This
happened to me, but got resolved pretty quickly.
Other than that, can't offer much help I'm afraid!

when i donated a few months back i was upgraded to contributer instantly which made me think it was an automated process?

Yes there does appear to be a glitch with the automation........
If you use the donate button in the middle of the header it is ok...however......if you use the donate button on the 'donate' page it
doesn't....  ....nothing I can personally do to fix that....only chrisw can.....
Guys.....(the only one who has u2u'd me ..once..not plural)......I have been on holiday, and catching up with the backlog still.......
However.......in the meantime I do need ALL of the info before I can update you....
There is a sticky at the top of this section called Contributions........
Please read that, and make sure all of the detail is included in the u2u.....
you may find it easier to forward the entire email from PayPal to my email addy......( email button at bottom of my post)

As an aside.......perhaps you all will now understand as to why we are not keen to do 'stickies' .....no one ever reads them.....it seems
to be easier (lazy) just to hit the keyboard.................
