Locost sledge 1.0
Take:
2 front bits of old skis
1 slatted shelf
2 bits of an old dresser
2 bits of batten
a few screws
a length of nylon rope
mix together and you have a locost sledge.
I built it to pull my little lad along on in the snow when he was coming up to 1 year old... he is now just about to be 20
After reading eznfrank's post I went and dug it out of the garagar for an outing.

Locost sledge 1.1
Take:
* 36m of square tube
* a length of nylon rope
* bike/car engine (optional)
Cut the tubes and weld together and you also have a locost sledge.
If you install the nylon rope and pull it yourself you will have a 0.2 bhp sledge
Stick an engine in it and your looking at a 150+ bhp sledge !
