What pi**es me off
Drivers who do not clean their cars from snow before they drive off.
Someone today decided to stop his car in the middle of an A road to clean his passenger side window.
Although i was doing something like 30mph the car started sliding and the ABS working overtime as it was downhill.
Also, another one on M4, decided to brake a little bit hard and all the snow from his roof ended in his windscreen.
CLEAN YOUR F***N cars!!!!!!!!!!

Where's the fun in that though, I love it when the snow starts flying off in lumps and the pr1ck who's on your bumper has a panic. It
wasn't you was it ?
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I passed by a Mitsubishi 4X4 thingy. The windows were absolutely clear, the front drivers light had something like 4 inches of snow and this
continuing over the bonnet.

when i got up this morning i cleaned the lights, bonnet, windows, mirrors, and part of the roof of both mine and my misses car.
(i do the bonnet so i don't get a constant stream of snow coming onto the windscreen).
I started counting cars that had been properly cleaned on the way to work - about 1 in 10. depressing.

I assume I expect too much from other people as my car is always garaged and i do not have to clean it at all.
I even had it washed yesterday so i can get rid of the grit.

Another example of common sense and thinking ahead IMHO.
I cleared our cars this AM with a dustpan which has a soft rubber edge on it. It was only snow, no ice, so both cars were cleared in minutes, roof,
windows, mirrors, bonnet and lights - SIMPLES
What made me laugh though today was me and my lad cruising up a steep snowy hill in SWMBOs 306 past an array of Mercs, Beemers and a Shogun all
floundering about like beached whales

I drove once with snow one the car a few weeks ago.
- The snow had got soft in the sun the day before and then refrozen so when i got at 7 in the morning it was really ver stuctural indeed.
Removed from frontscreen, lights, and a portion from side a rear windows but there was no way it was coming off the paint and most of it made it
2hours to loughborough.
But generally i agree in general to taking it off.

So which of those statements is true?
Agee wholy with the clearing snow though. Why do they need to clear it from the lights? They never use the indicators anyway!

Used to live next door to a guy who cleaned a letterbox size slit in the snow before driving off.
Even more amazingly he was a policeman.

Both.
I always leave a safe distance from the car in front of me. This one, i saw it about 300 yards ahead and started slowing down just in case. The ABS
kicked in straight away.

What is stupid? The fact that he drove off in a car that he had no visibility?
Or the fact that he stopped in the middle of the road to clean up the window?
If i was to crash on his car or run him over due to skidding who's fault would it be?
And all of that because he is stupid enough not to clean the windows.
By the way, there is parking space less than 400 yards away.
