make a cardboard template and mark a line down the center of the bends. transfer and cut out, mark bend centerline. 2 workmates, a length of 4" drain pipe clamped up. form by hand constantly checking against scuttle and nose cone. you will prob need some smaller pipe to match the nosecone. Its very simple really and very rewarding when you have finished plus if you screw it up not too expensive!

Dont forget to over-bend as it'll always spring back a bit.

It was much easier than we expected, mind you the lamp post being directly outside the garden gate saved time

twas that easy, and i used the lamp post out the front of my house with a blanket wrapped round it,

H and S will be around shortly to discuss poor footwear issue. I think they can go back several years if they want to, so don't pull that statute of limitations argument!

Making a bonnet is not that hard or I wouldn't have been able to do it. Just take your time.
