Engine ride height.

Has anyone got a definative dimension from the bottom (book) rail to the top most part of the engine (any) that will clear a bonnet sitting between standard nose cone and scuttle.

I am planning on fitting a ford 2.0l dohc and havnt any bodywork to work with at the mo.

Help ??????

Ps. The motor is EFI,gearbox MT75.

If you are building your own chassis I would recommend getting your nosecone and scuttle, or at least finding out the heights before finalising the chassis height. It is relatively easy to increase the height of the chassis during its construction to accomodate the engine.

Wish I'd done this
