Megasuirt injector question

MS1Extra running EDDIS on a rover V8

Tring to get my head round the injector firing section of the MS.

Two questions

If its set to Alternating between Bank 1 and Bank 2
and 4 sqirts per cycle --

Does this mean that during 1 cycle ( 360 deg crank rev ) it will fire banks 1212 OR 1122 or some other combination?

Thanks

Paul

I honestly dont think it really matters - on my V6 I have it set to 2 shots , alternating , with the two banks of cylinders split left and right - and it runs fine

Its cuz I is blond , innit

Thanks...

Firing order is 18436572

so I will make bank 1843 and bank 2 6572

Without a cam posistion sensor the injection timing is largely irrelevant, megasquirt does not know which cycle in the 720 degrees, it is in.

As I understand it, it will alternate the firing of the banks, so it will go;

bank1 - bank2 - bank1 - bank2

Also, I only spotted one question in the OP, not two..?
