I've got one of these. A 1.4 Tdi
Saved me a fortune in the last 6 months.
If you've got a deisel make sure the aux cabin heater is working once it comes to winter again.
If it take more than a few minutes to warm the air up in the car it may need resetting (vag-com). If i'd done it sooner to mine i'd have
been much warmer this winter on the way to work.

The V8 engine will not fit in there unless you put it at the back.

I think you know my knowledge of VAG stuff, try opening both front windows at 50mph
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

I like them.
Although
A mates dad has one. He has had it from new, about 7 years or so now. I understand he bought it becuase he liked the whole aluminium spaceframe / cast
node / aluminium panel thing.
What does he do for a living ?
He lectures in architecture
Course he does.
He also owns a linen jacket.

I'm gonna do it tomorrow morning and let you know! I hope it's some kind of super-secret-Audi-magicy-type-thing that makes the car
take-off and fly!

I have to admit it... that's what attracted me to it - I just got reading about the whole design and manufacturing process and became hooked!

If it's like some old TVR's the back window pops out and gives the following traffic a brake test.

Pretty sure it was because it cost more for them to make than the price they could reasonably charge customers for them!
