body shop costs?

how much would i expect to pay to have the laquer resprayed on the roof of my BMW, a patch of rust on the door sorted, and all for wheel arches cured of rust?

want to sell it, but it looks like a dogs dinner at the minute. want to sell it for as much as i can, bearing in mind i'll need to pay out for bodywork

any ideas?

What BMW is it? I'd have thought that to do all that work you're looking in the region of £500 (non-dealer or fancy garage price of course).

Depending on the car you may have better chances of making some money back by breaking it?

you might be right actually. its a 1995 328. not really got the space for breaking, but you're right i think, could make a tidy bit of money from the bits.
original BBS alloys must be worth a bit alone...
see, i want to get a skyline soon, need money to fund that

think i'd get less than what i kinda want for it. bought it for £3500 3 and a half years back. the fresh sea air has taken its toll though its still a great solid car, just a bit crusty round the arches. a good clean will probably do wonders right enough.
would be happy to get anything over a grand for it. pref £1500, but who knows. probs a bit 'optimistic'

similar cars to mine on piston heads seem to be for sale for £1250 or thereabouts, with similar milage. will find out a quote for body work today perhaps. that would pay for half of my skyline if i could sell for £1500

Mmmmmm straight six ^_____^

The mental gymnastics a landlord will employ to justify immoral actions is clinically fascinating. Just because something is legal doesn't make it moral.

GTS is good enough for now, call it a starter skyline if i like it and want one with big power, then i'll get a fire breathing modded 600bhp r34 gtr
