L bracket supplier help???
i need alot of L brackets at the moment.
to mount the following on my car.
Nose cone.
Scuttle.
bike engine frame to chassis.
Brake line flexi pipe to copper pipe.
and various other bits.
is there a supplier of L brackets in Steel to i can weld them to my frame and save me making them.

Do they need to be that thick? B&Q have a lot of thinner but still structural brackets in the building and framing sections.

I use 20mm wide x 2mm thick aluminiun strip from B&Q they only cost a few quid for a metre
Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016

need thick ones for holding the engine frame on. and thick ones to hold radiator on. other ones not so thick will be fine.
also some half brackets would be good too. a little like below.

Buy a length of steel L section... get a decent jigsaw and blade and chop it into pieces... drill the holes and use a grinder to round the corners...
10 mins per bracket! Cost.... about £0.20p!

For my nose cone and scuttle I just set riv-nuts into the top chassis rail.

Go to MEMFAST and pay the money for the tool 36 bucks for the base and tenner for the mandrels.
I wish i had bought one ages ago.....best thing ever

steer clear of the b&q stuff, it might be cheap but its complete crap. the aluminium is especially appalling.
