205 MI16 Rolling road print out
Hi Guys,
I've not long rebuilt my 1900 16 valve engine,Anyway I've had it on the rolling road to see if I had everything done correctly (cam timing
etc)
Now my query lies with the cam timing,I have no idea what cams are in the car although they are thought to be after market cam as they have more lift
than the standard MI 16 cams.If I had the cam timing out by a degree or 2 would this be noticable on the graph. I.E the way the power tails off etc.If
any thing I think the cams could do with getting a little more lift at tdc as I have just set them up to standard spec.
Here is the graph if it means anything to anyone.

you will need to know what cams are in to correctly dial them in. do you have vernier pulleys on them?
what carbs / TB / injection are you running?
I used to get around 210BHP at the wheels from my MI16 with race cams and twin 48 dellortos

The cars running zzr1100 carbs 40mm,It also has vernier pulleys.
I've dialled the cams into standard spec but there lies the problem,I have no idea what cams they are,I just thought looking at the above graph
the power seems to stop rising so aggresively around 5600rpm as with torque it actually starts to drop.
