Click on the 'special tools & parts', then 'Ford 5-speed gearbox extension'.
You'll need to do some metalwork, and maybe some lathe work, but it does work well, even if I say so myself!

careful though, coz that link's for a type 9 box, not a type 5 as asked for. the gear lever doesn't look the same at all

according to burton, yes, its a 4 speed box fitted to to V6 capris and granadas in the 70s i think
