Wheel questions when using Cortina Geometry, Wheel ffset to acheive optimium handling

Good Morning Gents,

Have recently brought my self a set of Alloy uprights from rally design, There the onees with the cortina geometry.

I am now looking to purchase a new set of wheels but I dont know what the best offset to go for would be for the best road handling performance & characteristics, I have been searcing but cant find out.

Does anybody know what the 'standard' offset is & has anyone tinkered with more/less offset ?

The car did have sierra uprights so im having to make new wishbones which will be rose-jointed, meaning the wishbones will be made to suit

Thanks for your help
