Wanted:Thermostat housing to head seal

Does anybody know the part number if this please as I reckon I need one as I can see what looks like pink crystals all around my assy.

If anybodys got a spare one or knows if its just a normal O ring and know the size even better!

is it for a blacktop zetec ? if so local motor factors should havve them, on the downside the housings are known to crack. Just hope it is the seal

Yes it is for a blacktop, dont suppose you know if they crack by themselves or when they are removed?

Hi,

Just found that mine is cracked, it is on the seam so I will be of to the Main Stealers to get a new one on Tuesday.

on my mum's mondeo, it was the inner lip that disintegrated so there was no support for the square section o ring, causing it to leak from the mating face. silicone wouldn't cure it, but a replacement from the scrappers did (it's not removing them that cracks them)
