Washer pump testing..
Front washer pump on my Shogun doesnt... pump that is..
Its open circuit across the contacts, is that right? or should there be some resistance?
Tried it with a bike battery but nothing, no spark across the contacts or anything.
Desperately need a new pump for my 02 Sport Equippe. Mot looming.. Can anyone help?

Pump prob fubarred. Recently had a mate mump about his washers not working on Mitsi FTO and yep he had frozen & popped both pumps (one for the f
& r). Of course muggins hear had to fix in the snow!
Anyways just to say that the couple of Sierra pumps from the pile fitted the bottle and just changed the connection ends.
might be usefull to know.

These things are pretty standard types most motor factors have an application book with all the different types.
If you can find one to fit just disconnect the wires from the existing pump , mount an ordinary inline pump in series with defunct pipe and it
should draw water straight through the existing pump without problem.
