Making Doors out of ABS

I'm thinking of making some doors out of black ABS with polycarbonate windows.

Has anyone done this and if so what thickness ABS did you use?

I was thinking of 2mm, but not sure if this will be too flimsy.

If it's too thin it will resonate but you could always (if it did) add a re-inforcing strip of ABS to act as a doubler to get rid of it. I'd keep it light. Infact if it's almost tempting to make it from CF sheet (ABS gets quite heavy quite quickly as it gets thicker)

Are you going to form them for elbow clearance?

Putting some shape into them would stiffen them and allow you to use thinner material.

That was the plan, though not sure how I'm going to do it yet.

That would be light but I wouldn't be able to heat and form it.

Thanks
