Front Shock Mountings
I have purchased a part built chassis and was wondering what is the best position for the shock absorber bracket on the front of the chassis. for some
reason the guy who has built the chassis has welded another piece of 1x1 tubing along the inner part of the chassis where the bracket fits and welded
the bracket to that. just wondered if this is ok or could it cause problems.

space is limited up front, depends on what engine you are using,i sugest you measure the engine with alternator on and see if there is enough room

I've added some triangutar webbing to raise up the top moutn, but could have done it the same way. Reason I did it was because the shocks I use havea
different travel (min and max lengths) than the book. Might be the same reason for the guy who made yours.
