WTD: Worn but legal Tyre x1 185x55/60x14

Hello all

Westy is nearly ready for it's MOT following the rebuild, am looking for a single tyre to replace the one I accidentally popped with the drill. Needs to be legal in 185x60/55x14, but doesn't need to be anything special, jus enough for me to get the MOT station and back until I get cash for a new set all round! Willing to collect if local, anyone have anything they don't want?

Thanks!
Ben.

Repair the stabbed one Ben?

You could even have a go at repairing it your self, would be a cool little challenge to see if it#ll last long enough for the test...

For MOT, don't tyres have to match, at least on same axle ?

i understood that for mot the tyres on the same axle had to match in terms of size and construction method but not tread pattern

could be wrong though

I have a good 185 65 14 in the loft. Not been on a car for years. If you want to collect it you can have it. I am not far away in Macclesfield.

Hi just found a 185/60 14 on a steel rim, loads of tread left if any use.

A tyre that hasn't been on a car for years is not a good tyre
