Locost fuel pump mounting system
Wanted to mount my fuel pump so it would not get in the way of where the boot box "will" be. So I thought how about here:
So I made some paper templates of both sides, one to mount the filter and one to mount the pump.
Now here is the locost bit, could not find and metal sheet in the garage, so came up with one of SWMBO old oven trays. Made of steel and thick enough
for the job.
Once cut out, cleaned up, rubbed down and a quick dusting of paint, fitted to the chassis.
Then mounted pump and filter into secure location, fuel hoses added and jobs a good en'
I am probably going to have some proper plates made up but for now, these will do.
