Heat shrink tubing you could put on a wire after you had soldered both ends up.

Heatshrink tape is available from RS Components, or if the wire is detatchable but with connector soldered on heatshrink tubing with a shrink ratio of 4:1 should fit over the connector and shrink down enough to capture wire and connector it is also adhesive lined so is waterproof as well.
