JK Composite seats and IVA.
Just taken delivery of a pair of JK composite seats for my dax rush, and they do look very nice. Black with yellow padding.
I have two questions with regard to IVA for anyone using these seats.
1) The seat edges feel a bit sharp and I assume they are likely to fail the 2.5mm test. Anyone who has fitted these - what have you had to do to get
the edges to pass? Smooth them? Cover them with something?
2) According to the manual I need to put 100 x 100 x 5 mm reinforcing plates under any seat bolt. Would aluminium do for this bracing?

rubber u-section around the edges should sort you out for IVA sharp edges.

I read the reinforcing plates bit as only being required if the seats had integral belts.
