1000rr custom header downpipes?

As I'm fitting a fireblade 1000rr engine to my haynes I will need to make a custom exhaust, I was wondering if any company's make the downpipe flanges or is it best to just buy some stainless headers and chop the flanges off?

We do a set of billet stainless oval to round port adaptors with flanges that facilitate building straight off with round tube, they make a nice job of the install and I might be wrong but have a feeling the stock pipe is some weird alloy thats a bitch to weld - call me on 01449 736633 if you want a set

Ah brill they sound like just what I'm looking for! Yes the standard pipes do look a strange material but I was thinking of secondhand stainless after market downpipes but think this would be an expensive route to go.
