New Purchase

Hi there,
My first post after getting out of the world of sidecar racing....

Sat watching the television at the weekend and bid on the following on my phone and oops I bought it. I have picked it all up and to be honest it looks promising - can anyone tell me who built it and what have I bought!

Looking forward to being part of the madhouse!

Here is my purchase:

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251289588435?

Thanking you all in advance!

Steve

Well it looks like you got a bargain. There's better qualified people on here to identify the chassis but it's probably a bought locost "book" chassis. Put the pedals in to make sure you actually fit. Make sure you're going to be happy with the bike engine (work out some gear ratios & the weight of the finished car) and find someone local to take you for a ride in a bec & a cec. Have a look at this site as the chassis looks similar - good luck..........

Isnt it a Stuart Taylor kit? Now owned by Aries Motorsport? As has already been said you got an absolute bargain there. Di you get tHe original receipt with it? You will probably need need it for IVA / DVLA paperwork if you want to put it on the road

Very good if it's a ST kit - very nice cars.
While you need a receipt for the forms the a print out of the ebay page (including pictures) and receipt will probably be enough. It's just to prevent people stealing cars and ringing them - they really don't care who welded the chassis together.

Have spoken to Aries and the chassis was not made by them. I have measured the chassis and it is the exact dimensions of the original book chassis, remarkably accurate as well, flat and square!

Front suspension is now fitted with rear axle set up awaiting shocks.

Regards

Steve
