Silverstone Trackday: Bank Holiday Monday 26th May 2014
All booked on, paid an extra £60 for a garage for anyone that wants to come in with me on it.
Think John Whatley is coming too with his MK Indy R Hayabusa Turbo, along with Luke Shaw too.
Anyone else up for it?

Unfortunately I do not think my gearing is long enough for Silverstone, is this the £379 with 105db, may still be interested never the less.

Yes that's the one
I too think my gearing is too short, but hey ho - still gonna be fun sitting on the limiter in 6th

Yeah… I have a 3.14 diff sitting waiting to go in, to replace my 3.38, but I'm not taking car off the road to do it until winter again

A bit to rich for my tastes I'm afraid, though I might have the gearing for it.

I have a 3.14, but only rev to 10.5k... so its basically the same as a 3.38. 126mph top end there or there about.
Looking forward to it, jsut a little worried it may be the first track day out after the rebuild. Glad you got a garage Olz!

Don't be worried, I'll be behind you to catch your turbo when it falls off
Finders keepers, and all that, yeah?

Yeah. Looking at videos from Friday I'm probably at least 1 gear lower than Ollie. Theoretical top speed is 149mph; I've never topped it
out on track (rarely get into 6th) but had it past 140 and still pulling hard on foreign m/ways. It's a bit tall for track use but it's
nice cruising and breaking 70 in first is fun. Would be interesting to see how it is on a big circuit.
