That's "MR C" on here also.
I've bought a Duratec for a Midlana project as well. But I am also working on a turbo zetec and mulling over an st220 lump if I can find one
cheap ish.

Yep, slow burning project, keep chipping away at it. The original plan was to keep it simple, duratec, throttle bodies cams and ecu, but a
supercharger got in the way, as after my V-Storm I wasn't sure if I could live with an NA engine. I used the MPS box as the fester ST150 box is
made from butter especially if you want to run a decent amount of power. You can use an MTX box from a mundano though still debatable at high power
and an open diff. MPS box has a slipper as standard and can take over 300bhp with ease.
I would think seriously about using a 220 lump as I had to lengthen the engine bay slightly to allow the plenum etc to fit. The V6 shape may actually
fit better. I've also widened the car by 4 inches so I can fit in it.
Not sure if going off piste with too many alterations to the measurements is the done thing on the midlana forum. The SKCC possey are cool about it,
as long as they can have a thrash in the finished article and it'll get to A to B without breaking down,..though if it does, it's
something to laugh about and take the pish out of.
Bit of a lull in proceedings, as in no particular order, I need to order some more metal, go see Jeff down the Brighton and get my daily driver
straightend. oh and finish my bloody masters.

Thanks that should keep me going a while, I have an MR2 rallycross car which this year has proved enfuriating due to issues with its ageing management
and electrical systems, I'm thinking of fitting a duratec on throttle bodies etc over the winter would be a power drop to start with but loads
of scope for upgrading as time goes on, the plan is forming in my head but I need to work out gear change and driveshafts really before I commit, I
have the chance of a full running Mondeo for a very small sum. I like the 4cyl duratec its a lovely light engine and now I know about the lsd MPS box
I'm liking it even more!! Thanks.
As an aside any pointers in the Duratec Elise department as that sounds very similar to what I'm planning

The mps engine. 2.3t and no loss in power if you can find one at sensible money.

Yep I know, just fancy something more mainstream for parts, tuning etc and also want to be able to work on it in the tight engine bay
