Couple of questions

I'm new to the site but me a mate have just purchased a blackbird powered indy which we love - what a great car on the track!

We got two cans when we purchased the car but neither of these got us below 100db at a recent track day and we had to go home very early(gutted) Could anyone give some advice on what options are available - I know MK do one for about £100 but wondering if anyone had other thoughts.

Also the clutch is starting to go - there are various options available (kevlar, heavy springs, extra plates) - just wondering if anyone could recommend some options

cheers in advance

scott

i made a short baffle pipe from 35mm perforated tube, which fits in the outlet end of my carbon race can (easily removed without taking can off) it got me under the 98db limit at donnington park. it does sap power a bit, but its not that much of a problem, and it didn't cause the car to overheat or anything.

In future, please be specific with your question or subject matter. it's bloody anoying opening a generic "Please help" type question, only to find the topic unanswerable or of no interest.
