Cheapest Soft Outdoor Cover
When I towed my car back from the bodyshop it was snowing. As I use a Navara for towing the height at the rear of the truck means that all the spray
and crap from the road gets thrown up right into the front of my car.
I can't afford to have a full cover made properly for the trailer and neither can I use a different tow car so I was going to invest in one of
these nets for towing -

..but I need a cheap waterproof car cover to go underneath it. The car by day sits in the garage so the cover will only be for journeys but as it will
be held down with the net I need a cover that is 'soft' on the inside rather than just single layered.
The cheapest 2 layer cover I can find is on the Hamilton website and is about £70!!
Can anyone find me a cheaper, soft lined, but waterproof car cover? It doesn't need to be 'kit-car' shaped, just a small hatch sized
will be fine.

I'm sure either Aldi or Lidl have done them in the past, they tend to come around every so often?
Wouldn't some sort of backboard on the trailer be a better option? You might just be trading bonnet chips for car cover scratches as it flaps
around.

I bought one from Halfords for my TVR after reading about them on Pistonheads... They are similar to a much more expensive version... soft inside,
waterproof, 3 undervehcile sctraps etc, comes in variuos sizes around £40... pretty impressed with it...
Might want to add some bungies around the wheels to stop it flapping too much whilst driving...

I did consider this - it's hard to tell how much road-crap is coming from the car and how much is just general spray. The cost for some plywood
to make a shield on the front will probably outweigh the cost of a cover.

For the hairdressers I've always bought them from Amazon.
Normally a breathable one costs c£25 - actually just seen one on there for £12.99 delivered - why pay more?
A few extra ties and you're laughing.
