Winter upgrades

What winter upgrades have others got planned? On my (ever growing list) I've got:

Fit seat runners to drivers seat
Make and fit "spacers" for passenger seat
Fit 4 point belts
Fit fire extinguisher
Modify exhaust so it points down
Fit stone guards to rear arches
Fit "mud flaps" to front cycle wings
Build MJLJ PCB
Fitt Trigger wheel to crank pulley
Fit VR sensor to engine
Fir throttle pot to webers
Fit coil and MJLJ box
Wire all of it together
Clean and paint LSD
Clean and paint Lobro driveshafts
Clean and paint rear disk parts
Fit LSD
Fit Lobro driveshafts
Fit rear disk brake parts
Paint-up the engine
Air filters or box?
Cold air feed for carbs
Boot lid
Fit wide-track front wishbones
Lighten things….

Not much then!

1) Fit drivers seat.
2) Possibly lower floor to enable (1) to happen.
3) possibly move pedalbox forward a few inches if (2) is not sufficient to allow (1) to happen.

Engines?
Who knows - it's still up in the air at the moment.

That's part of the problem Adam - I am generously proportioned in a horizontal axis as well

P.S. The more I see those splitrims, the more I'm glad I left it...

Would still love a set of Compomotive split rims though. Then I'll have a set of each of my favourites.

Dave,

Have you done anything yet? I haven't!
We've not got our moving date yet, supposed to be before Christmas, better not be bloody Christmas eve!

Hi Dave,

We're moving just up the road really, but it's 3 bedroom (our lass wants sprogs) with integral garage so it'll be nice and warm in there!

But it means I'll have to do the dirty, smelly jobs out in the shed!

Should be moving next Friday, or the following Monday.

After Christmas I'll race ya to see who can get the most done!

I've now got two LSD's, two sets of driveshafts and all the rear brake parts, so that'll give me something to do (in the shed) over Christmas.

Cheers

G

Cheers

We're not moving until next year now!

Plus I missed off fitting a quick rack from my list. Looks like I'll have to start some of the upgrades in the cold garage

Move radiator.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Not much left then...

Diff fitted. Most rear end parts painted. Just the rear wheel bearings to change tomorrow night and I can start re-assembling the rear end on Wednesday (day off work).

Finish extensive work on house so that I can sell it
Find and buy new house with a GARAGE!!
Start work on car I have been wanting to build since 1983 (that's the year I decided to build a Lotus seven copy)
With a bit of luck I might be on the road in about 5 years
