zx12 spark plug
Hello,
my Zx12 engine (Westfield XTR2) is running with NGK CR9EKPA spark plugs.
I have to change them quite often if i do not rev the engine ( for example when i run the engine for some minutes in wintertime).
but they are quite expensive.
So do you know where i can buy them at a low price , or is there any alternative ?

I am surprised, as I have run the same set for more than 2 years now! When you say you need to change them, what effect is this having on your
engine/running?

Hello,
my KMS ECU is programmed quite rich, so if the engine is not used at high revs, the plug quick cover with "carbon" layer.
So engine is very difficult to start from cold.
As soon as i change them, i starts again perfectly.

Why not adjust your mapping then ?
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.
