P.W.S. Loom Q

Hi Everybody,

Those of you who have used a PWS loom may know this. In the engine loom, there is a black cable to connect to the ignition coil. Is this a constant 12v supply, switched on via the ign key?

Am still sorting out which cables have to connect to the Nodiz (white) plug.

I thought you had managed to get hold of a copy of the wiring "diagram", it should be shown on there. If you haven't got a copy it might be able to help if I can find mine.

I asked the question of Alan when fitting mine and he said to the switched ignition. On mine I have it going from switch live to IGN on the alternator - Nipon Alt with two pins one IGN, one L

HTH

The instructions just say "using the black wire to connect to Coil Positive or Ignition pack"

Thanks for your replies.

RustyNuts - Yes thanks, I got the pdf copies of the PWS crib sheets, which i.d. the various cables in that loom. I merely asked if the coil supply was uninterrupted, whilst the ignition switch was on. Can't see why it wouldn't be, just wanted to make sure.

Tims31 - Noted your quote - The instructions just say "using the black wire to connect to Coil Positive or Ignition pack". That clarifies things.
