is it possible to use g reg 2.0i pinto granada as a donor ??

I know the answer is here some where but stupid auld me cant find it

simple yes/no please, will worry about technical stuff later have the offer of one f.o.c. but gotta act quick.

Is it th dohc if so....
About the only bits any good to you are the gearbox (mt75 most prefer the type 9) the rear disc calipers and a few ods and sods....=not worth the bother
if its sohc
Thats a differant matter as you will have a 2ltr pinto type 9 box this being the locosters fav..
.....= worth scrapping just for them bits alone........

yes the engine and box are fine but the front and rear hubs are 5 stud i think the diff and rear end is different but i am not sure
i have used the granada engine and box
the front uprights are different ( i used the cortina ones)
if its the injection engine with 205 cast on the side its the best pinto to get

It can be used. However, the bits to salvage from it are pretty limited. Rear Disc's, Loom diff with minor alterations, unsure as to front hubs and prop.

As it's FOC I'd go for it if you have the room to strip!

cheers for the advice guys now to get all the other skitterry jobs out the way and get on with my bookish granada hybrid locost
