Front Suspension Bracket Jig
Can someone start me of with how to make a jig for the front suspension please.
I have some box section and some threaded rod at the ready.

I used two pieces of rhs with holes drilled to suit the bracket bolts at 8" centres.
I joined these together with two further bits of RHS so as the distance between the first two was greater than the desired bracket separation.
End up with something like this l=l
Then thread the rods and brackets into this frame and lock in the correct relationship with locknuts.
Offer up the complete assembly to the chassis and tack weld / fit the FUs.
I've seen others use another jig to ensure the brackets lie parallel to the chassis centre line but I did this by measurement.

You're welcome to use the jig I made for mine, all you have to do is drop in while passing knutsford....

Cheers Bob, but sort of "borrowed" your idea and did the same with plywood and it worked. Your car's looking good by the way and the
dash looks good. How easy is it to make a "current gear" display for a Fireblade and what tells it which gear you are in?

you can buy a gear display thing (forget it's name - best ask in electrice section) cheaper than my dash (which is expensive having a production
run of 4....)
