Plastic parts - 'Skiffy'
I am not sure if this is the correct place for this post or not.
Has anyone used 'Skiffy' before? They are a supplier of plastic and metal parts. By chance a catalogue arrived addressed to the guy who
works next to me and he was going to bin it, me being nosey had a flick through the catalogue and it is full of all sorts of small plastic clips,
brackets, knobs, covers, screws, bolts, cogs etc etc....basically everything you can think of.
I havent really looked into the prices too much, but i have noted that they do small quantities. Might be of use to someone, who is frantically
searching for that elusive item.

You are probably best to go to 'index pictures' when on the site. I havent noticed prices on the site, but they are in the catalogue.

We use them a lot
We use Skiffy parts a lot in prototyping, and in some cases even in production since they're not expensive (I'm an industrial designer).
Here in the Netherlands you can even drive up to them and buy *single* items from them directly. Not sure if they do that everywhere though.
I can recommend them, especially part series 007 -- finishes of those hex screws beautifully.

Wouldn't work in firefox but it works in IE. Get the extension for opening websites in IE from firefox on the right click menu, dead handy,
saves copying and pasting.

Worked for me
There seems to be a lot of interesting stuff on there, not looked at prices yet but the possibility of group buys springs to mind.

can't help thinking the group 009 furniture ferrules would make good nut covers, a lot lke the tifosi ones.
will have a good look when i get a minute.
