Which ECU
I'm trying to make up my mind which ECU to go for, the choice is between an Emerald M3DK or a DTA E48EXP. I've downloaded both manuals and
am going to study them tonight to try and decide which is the better suited.
Has anyone else considered these? What descision did you come to and why?
Thanks Mick

Theres an ecu thread funnily enough I only read earlier today here:
http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=27629
Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

There's not much in it AFAIK, what may be as important is what your local rolling road is familiar with?
shimming solid lifters is a job for a friend...

Well I've just installed my traction control adjuster yesterday connected to an OMEX 710 ECU.
I will be hopefully trying out the full throttle shifting and launch control very soon

I had the DTA on my old engine, and got on with it fine. I only chose DTA above the others as I got it for a good price used.
I know the DTA has extra's such as shift lights and launch control, which the Emerald may not?
As said, I dont there is much in it, and dont think you'll go wrong with either.
