Electrics and Premier Wiring loom update

I have now accounted for most of the wires and connected them!

I have a few wires unaccounted for and not connected them!

I have some wires which I know what they do but I'm not sure where to connect them!

Those that fall into the last category are:
The black/blue from the starter button to the solenoid can anyone tell me which terminal on the solenoid it goes to. The solenoid is from an Escort. it has two big terminals for the battery and starter motor leads and a small spade terminal and a threaded stud terminal.

The thick red wire from the alternator needs to connect to the battery via the starter solenoid. Does this connect to the starter motor or battery side of the solenoid?

Why have I got three wires in the front loom for the reverse light?
I have a few more but I'll see if I can work them out myself.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers
Jon

Feed from starter button goes onto the spade. The smaller stud is for the ballast resistor bypass.

Battery side. Can just connect directly to the battery

If you had 2 then I'd say they were for the switch. Not sure why you'd have 3.

Hope that helps you get a bit further

Brilliant thanks!

Regarding the reverse light switch, I only connected one to the terminal on the gearbox and it works. Don't know what the other two wires are for so I just taped them up!
Thanks again.

wire near gearbox, handbrqake warning light..

Three wired for the rear fog are live, lamp and earth for the tell tale lamp (legal requirement/sva).

ALL the woring designationa are on the paperwork, but you yhave to read it several times, as its not the most clear papwerwork. However, ALL the info is on the papwerwork. Just read it several times over, (and ALL of it as some is in different places)
all in all its a good loom and caters for everything.

Hi Geoff,
it's not the fog light I have a problem with, it's the reverse light switch. I seem to have three wires that do exactly the same thing! It seems to work though!
