Scuttle heights.

Can any one tell me the height of a velocity scuttle and a locost scuttle please.

also. Does anyone know if the velocity body work will fit a locost chassis..

Yes I think they are interchangeable, my velocity chassis measures up to the 'book', evern thou I have inderpendant springy bits. The Luego bonnet and skuttle are taller to accomodate modern engines . The crossflow only just slid under a locost bonnet leaving the air filter behind.

Thanks mate. do you know how high the velocity scuttle is?

Im trying to squeeze a zetec under the bonnet and lot under the scuttle.

Sorry i cant help you. Try Grant at Luego, I found him prity helpful. I am after a similar dim to fit a duratec under the hood.

My Velocity scuttle is 310mm high.

I've got a Zetec fitted in, using the Velocity XT chassis & bodywork. Its a bit tight at the nose cone end but fits OK.
