1-inch pipe bender
I need to bend some 1-inch OD ali pipes for my BEC coolant system: does anyone have a pipe bender I could borrow in the Oxford area? Tool hire place
wants £30 to hire one for the day (they're £80 new!). I'd buy one and then flog it as a last resort, but it's a bit of a hassle.....

Check out your local plumbers , they would bend pipe for you for a drink.

be careful. I think this has been covered before, but there is a difference between pipe and tubing. Pipe sizes are measured internally while tubing
is measured externally. If you try to use the wrong bender, you will not get what you want (the die sizes will be wrong).

Electrical conduit is 25mm O/D so its an electricians one you want not a plumbers..
alternatively, b&q sell ali pipe in a straight length and with an offset in it - its sold as tv aerial support pipe - thats what I used.
