FINALLY GOT MY CHASSIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi All, as you can tell from the title i am now the new owner of my DAX Rush chassis and a few other bits and bobs. i picked it up on thursday but ive
been so so busy with work ( if you have ever been to a NEXT Retail sale, with the wife or on your own, you will know how busy they are) i havent even
had a chance to take photo's, let alone post them on the forum. i managed to start measuring up the floor panals, but i forgot to get the
adhesive from DAX (doh!) so i cant get riveting until it arrives. here are a few pictures of me and dad and my new toy!
dad is getting a bit excited now that my kit has arrived, he bought me the stands as a present, arhh bless him!
im a little confused as to what i use this thingy for
my engine, 2.1 pinto, twin webers
bloody good paint job on those rear hubs
finally, to keep the bad people away! the alarm system!
hope you enjoy my pictures, i'll get more posted as the build continues.....
ATB everybody
I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!

Dax Rush eh? You aint wecome round these parts! Go on shove off!
Actually I'm just inconsolably jealous of your wheel arches. Er... ever fancied learning how to take moulds?? Useful skill to have. Or maybe
you prefer the traditional Seven style - want to swap?
No? Oh well good luck anyway.

Really Wide???? 225's are not that wide. 235's are minimum requirement on the back of a Viento .
Really Wide is something like Carlos Fandango wheels
Welcome to the nuthouse.. and enjoy your build.
Take your time and dont RUSH it , and think through what you are doing and the sequence of doing it. It will save you taking bits off several
times etc.
Its all good fun..
Enjoy.
PS... I noticed the G clamps on the panel... Buy some Clecko's from Zilspeed, you wont regret the expense.. I didnt.
PPS..Carlos Fandango

BRG would be a pleasure to do and a welcome change from black.
If you ever have to cut a hole with a hole saw or a chunk off the grp for anything....save it providing it's got gel coat finish.... can match
to that then.

send you a piece so that you can match it up, and my body work is gel coated to
