Odd clutch cable routing issue

Is the SVA man going to be concerned if I've had to mount my clutch cable through the chassis rail?

The only way I can get a straight run to the clutch pedal with out the cable bending is if I mount it through the chassis rail. the mounting hole would be a 10.5mm one.

If I mount the clutch cable any higher then the cable will bend as soon as the pedal is pressed and will wear through

I can't see that this should be of concern to the SVA unless you cutting of the chasis severely compromised its strength, however, this feature does'nt sound in keeping with MNR design, perhaps you should speak to them?

I have spoken to Marc about it as I was unsure about it. He assures me that the chassis is plenty strong enough in that area and it's no problem. I just wanted to get some opinions on what Mr SVA man might think
