Front/rear track widths
Howdy good folk of the world,
I'm wandering about track widths. The rear of the car will be using the old granada width running rear with an imaginary axle length of roughly
56" (i think). I know this is quite wide (compared to book) but it's what I've got, so dammit I'm using it. The chassis is a
+4 over the entire length and width. Now then, what would be the best front track to use with such a rear end? Slightly wider/narrower or the same?
Your opinions please. Oh, and is it ok to just make the front bones longer, or should a little redesign/something else be done?
Cheers in advance.

My front is about 4" narrower than rear, though am planning on making wider at front.
Will probably modify existing bones to include spherical bearings, to give me some more castor adjustment. May remake from larger dia, thicker steel
tube.

Front track can be the same or narrower than the rear (front wider than the rear is sometimes seen in dirt-track oval racing, but I
understand it's not great for pavement). When designing your front suspension, though, take care to think about the width of the steering rack
you're going to use (so as to eliminate bumpsteer as much as possible). Sometimes having the front track an inch wider, for example, may save
you from having to have a steering rack cut down by the same amount!!
