This is unfortunately incorrect since speedsters based on beetle chassis are SVA exempt. Time for a rule change?

Just read about this on beermountain.com someone from there was on of the first on the scene and they said the driver was concious when he was in the
ambulance, so hopefully they are all ok.
They did said his bottom lip was split down to his chin through which sounds pretty painful!
