SVA at Nottingham

Got my SVA date at Nottingham. Nice friendly chap rang me, said I couln't have the date I asked for (28th) and offered me 17th. Wish I could but will be in Scotland. Going for it on 25th. Chap was very helpful, giving one or two things to check before I go. Apparently fuel pipe can be an issue. It has to be marked as fuel pipe, or alternately take the box it came in as proof

Heres hoping

Great bunch of blokes at Nottingham, very helpful.

Who've you got for your test, Martin or Andy?

Martin did mine. Couldn't have asked for a fairer test (well he did pass my car)

All the best on the day.

Martin did my car too.

Couldn't have been more fair - I really felt that the car had a good looking at but was also treated with respect.

Couldn't fault Martin, even hung on a bit to let us correct a few things.

One thing to make sure, which is one of the current hot points, is spreader plates / chassis washers under the seat bolts.

Hey Fesy - congrats mate Mark said you passed

He also said you occupied the James May suite - you still walking :-)

Yeah I had Martin too - a real top bloke - as you said, treated the car with respect, but gave it a mighty good going over :-)

Murray, you need to alter your avatar, add the word "built".

You're only modifying from now on in

Lyn.

Hi Hammerhead,

Nottingham test centre is at Watnall on B600 just off jcn. 26 of M1. Local to us, only about 4 miles away.

We shall be visiting them on the 27th July with our Indyblade.

Simon
