Router or LAN Card Problem

Hi guys,
As someof you may know, I have a home network using Netgear Kit.

This afternoon I've lost the Port Number indicator on the Router. After a number of reset's I have the same problem. From a cold boot the port indicator is illuminated indicating connection, then when windows kicks in it switches off again. I can still access the Internet via laptop indicating the router/internet link exists but LAN isn't working.

When reseting the router the port lights ALL light but then go off again. Is my problem the LAN Card? I've only had it 6 weeks!!!

Steve

OK - I've managed to sort it.

Uninstalled software to Netgear FA311 LAN Card (Adapter) and removed Card.

Shutdown Machine

Restart and delete Hardware drivers from Machine.

Reinstall Software

Reinstall card

All is well... for now :/

Steve
