What a pleasant suprise......

Went too tax the new Focus today, not got log book yet as only bought it towards the end of December.

mmm, put 6 months on then tax wont fall at Xmas next year, write a cheque out for £92.25.....

"that's too much, its £60.50"

"You sure" ? he checks again and says yup, £60.50 I wasn't expecting reduced tax on an 1800cc car, have they made a mistake or is it all down too emissions ?

That is a strange thing about it. Insurance changes with distance, road tax is fixed whether you do 1 mile or 50,000! May as well make the most of it then!

23MPG? The last time I checked my works van I get about 18-20, but it's a white van and I'm not nice to it. Although the Indy only does about 10 when having fun with it!

As above, just taxed daughters 107 - £40 for 12 months.
Woman in PO says cant be correct, will have to check ! comes back and says "its correct, its the first one I,ve done".
Are these to be exempt from congestion charge in London ?
