Engine painting

currently overhauling my engine....

Any suggestions/advice on painting the block/head?

Also my cam cover is now nicely polished ali - can anyone recommend a clear laquer that won't discolour with the heat ?

we've used two pac on our race engines, they come up looking nice! see my website for pics of the end results. otherwise I presume halfords will sell some overpriced heatproof acclaimed stuff....

Hmm.. anyone have any experience with that chassis black paint?

hard as nails, complete bar-steward to clean up/off wont chip/crack be shite like hammerite
