Pinto with no spark !

I have a 2ltr pinto, just wired in the igniton amp, but dont have a spark !
any suggestions / ideas ?
wires as follows
from amp -
green/Yellow to dizzy green/yellow
black/red to dizzy black/red
Brown - earth
black to coil +ive
green to coil -ive
black/green +

please help......

Have you put the rotor arm in?

The black should go to a common ignition controlled feed as well as to the coil and the module. Black is always a switched live in Ford looms. The Black/Green goes to the little terminal on the starter solenoid so it is a cranking feed to give a boost when starting.

cant remember but i'm sure i had an earth on the dizzy as well.

My dizzy had an earth (1 of the 3 wires).

i used the diag posted by Bob but colours were totally different on the plug i had. i just followed the order and it worked OK.
