Pretty easy; you need to find somewhere to mount the new VB921 (either in the proto area with individual heatsinks or on the case are common places) then just run wires to the appropriate places (grounds where the other VB921s are grounded and triggers to LED18 and processor pin 15 IIRC) on the PCB and the outputs to spare pins on the DB37 connector. Then just need to do the necessary changed to the 'codebase and outputs' section in Megatune.

Agree with CalvinX on that, makes life a lot easier too as the DB37 is not so jammed full of wires.

As an aside, personally I wouldn't use a DB15, I'd go for a more robust 'automotive' type connector (you only need 4 pins for the coils) - I really think the DB type connectors are not best suited to the rigours of being in a car, but unfortunately replacing the DB37 with something better is not an option due to the fact it is PCB mounted.

my apologies but i didn't assemble my MS and am not intimately familiar with its innards but

can i re-route(away from the DB37) the existing outputs from the 2 VB921's and take them, along with the 2 new VB921 outputs, out through a dedicated connector?

of course all without destroying the unit?

has anyone done a mod to use an "ampseal" connector instead of the DB37?
I really don't like the looks of all wires in my DB37. At least not when there are both coil outputs and VR-cables cramped together.
