Kangoo problems again

Using excesive coolant
The level goes down about a centemetre each day (about 50 miles stop - start).
I know this is a sign of head gasket. Is there anything else it could be?

ps there is no mayo looking stuff round the filler cap. I heard that was a sign too

How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Split hose?

Dont rule it out - look for any signs of the crystals left behind from evaporated anti freeze or water marks under the bonnet on the sound deadening.

I was convinced Id blown the head gasket on mine until I found a split hose right behind the head, what a relief!

Check inside the passenger compartment for signs of coolant from heater matrix. Common problem on Renaults!
