Couple of Pinto conversion questions
Hi guys, few questions if you don't mind.
I'm fitting a 2.1 pinto on side draughts to my Locost. Car's currently running an 1100 Xflow.
1. What fuel pump do you recommend - the pinto will be tuned to approx 160bhp.
2. The pinto was running standard carb before i bought it - will the dizzy therefore need changing?
3. What are your thoughts on baffled sumps? My sump has was previously shortened but has no baffling. I'll be doing some hill climbing next
year, is a baffled sump needed?

Pump - i think the std pump is OK to 150bhp, might be OK for yours but does sound like upgraded will be needed.
Dizzy - im sure most people with 2.1 or modded 2.0 find they need a modded advance curve. Mine ran better with megajolt even in 2D mode (previous was
std inductive type electronic).
Sump - as per my other post im probs that last person who should comment on baffles Do you have a pic of the sump as it is now?
