Bad backfire at low revs and small throttle?

Hi all,

as stated in the title I have a nasty backfire through the carbs, when adding a little throttle at crusing, and low RPM.

If I mash the throttle wide open there is all is fine, but when travelling in trffic you can't do that!

any ideas? I'm wondering if the timing is out at low throttle ?

it's a 1300 xflow, twin webbers, and megajolt!

any ideas?

Many thanks

Air leak or too weak mixture.

Mine does it from time to time, once when I had a bad air leak it was enough to blow the carbs out of the rubbers.
