Wanted: 3/8" bsp steel bush female

I will be using a capilary type temp gauge on my R1 engine.
The only location I can see is in the pipe from the head to the thermostat housing which I believe is made of steel?
I need a female bush to weld in, anyone got one going spare?
Beer vouchers/paypal?
